    The Experience Design Manager leads and executes on the design and development of engaging user experiences for our clients, candidates and internal talent acquisition teams. The Experience Design Manager is part of the Enabling Excellence team, leading the Experience Designers. This role provides both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement and is responsible for overall change management with the Experience Design team, internal stakeholders, and our clients. This role will demonstrate leadership by creating a tangible, implementation output that is unique to each of our clients.

    Responsibilities

    Team Management:

    • Work with team day-to-day to meet performance goals and objectives.
    • Responsible for hiring, performance management and career development for a team of smart, highly ambitious Cielo Experience Designers.
    • Provide leadership, inspiration and coaching to the Experience Design team.
    • Lead innovation and elevation of tools and practices, creating consistency of experience across all client implementations.
    • Focus on the creation of a differentiated experience that is unique to each client.

    Experience Design:

    • Lead client, implementation team and Cielo service delivery through a new client implementation and launch.
    • Conduct client discovery sessions to enable change management.
    • Understand existing experience for leadership, hiring managers, client recruiters and candidates. 
    • Provide consulting through ability to lead “current state and future state” assessment workshops around experience and change. 
    • Create and execute change plan alongside client and Cielo client services leadership. Including (but not limited to) voice of customer sessions, governance groups and risk analysis.
    • Collaborate on user experience planning with the client and internal subject matter experts.
    • Research and apply best practices, both internally and externally.
    • Understand and include technology, automation and self-service where possible.
    • Create the process to visualize the experience, as well as the communication and templates. 
    • Create a roadmap from current state to desired future state, including priority, sequence and change management dependencies.
    • Lead in training the team and hiring managers in the new experience.
    • Additional projects as assigned.

    Cielo Operational Excellence:

    • Responsible for Cielo-specific metric reports and P&L management. 
    • Manage the budget and ensure systems are in place to track expenses.
    • Drive standardization, continue improvement and consistency of processes and procedures.
    • Effectively work as part of the Enabling Excellence team to share best practices and drive organizational initiatives.
    • Focus on continuous improvement to measure, improve, and upgrade work methods, procedures and systems in order to improve the quality and cost efficiency of services and products delivered to customers.
    • Additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree required. Six Sigma, LEAN or other process certification preferred.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of seven or more years of experience design and/or change management expertise. Additionally, at least two or more years of client delivery experience, preferably in a related field.
    • Minimum of five or more year’s results-oriented leadership experience. 
    • Experience leading both virtual and on-site teams in a corporate environment. 

    Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 

    • Handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in developing overall strategy, focused on differentiation and customized approach.
    • Showcase both business and technical savvy and a keen attention to detail.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project and Visio) and other project management software.
